Is the Disease Concept Enough? Redefining Health and Disease Through Conceptual Engineering
In this paper I develop a new account of health and disease, the Bio-Institutional Account, that better serves the purposes of these concepts and better accommodates medically relevant non-dysfunctional conditions.
